As of this week… All grassroots football has been suspended by the government and The Football Association (The FA) until further notice.

Training

That means, due to COVID-19 we our training sessions on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday has been suspended temporarily.

Currently there are no set dates for when training will be back on.
However we will wait to see how things develop in the following days/weeks and we’ll update you accordingly.

Matches – Echo Junior League

Regarding our Sunday matches, here’s the message we received from the Echo league general secretary…

“For those of you that might not have heard we have now had a directive from Essex County FA as per the attached link

To that end, obviously we now have to suspend the league schedule until further notice. Please bear in mind that this suspension also covers all friendlies which would mean that your teams would not be insured if they choose to play.

Whilst I know that many clubs/teams will have questions, unfortunately we are not in a position to answer them if they relate to things like; how long, will the season be extended, will the season be restarted etc. It’s completely out of our hands now.

In the meantime, stay safe, be sensible when out and about, look after each other and help others, especially the elderly, where you can.

As and when I get any further information, I will of course update you all.”
